After medical school at Pierre and Marie Curie University (Sorbonne University), he completed his ophthalmology residency in Paris. He trained in the leading Parisian ophthalmology departments, including Necker, Saint-Joseph, Bégin, Kremlin-Bicêtre and the Quinze-Vingts National Eye Hospital.

He completed a cross-disciplinary fellowship in orbito-palpebro-lacrimal surgery, shared with maxillofacial and head-and-neck surgeons, graduating first in his class. This subspecialty training took him to the maxillofacial surgery department of the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital (Prof. Bertolus) and the ENT surgery department of the Institut Curie (Prof. Choussy).

Through this multidisciplinary training he acquired the finer points of each specialty involved in surgery of the eyelids, orbit and tear ducts. In parallel, he continues to subspecialise in cataract and glaucoma surgery.

He was then appointed Fellow of the Paris Hospitals in Prof. Nordmann's department at the Quinze-Vingts National Eye Hospital, where he developed a mainly surgical practice while helping train residents in oculoplastics and the various fields of eye surgery.

He remains involved in training younger colleagues: since 2021 he has been Vice-President in charge of the orbito-palpebro-lacrimal fellowship within the French National Association of Young Ophthalmologists.

He currently practises at the Ophtalife practice (Boulogne-Billancourt), which he co-founded with Dr Alexandre Hage and Dr Alexandre Majoulet, and at the Beaurepaire medical centre (Saint-Maur-des-Fossés).

He operates at the Ambroise Paré clinic in Neuilly-sur-Seine, the Jouvenet clinic in the 16th arrondissement of Paris and the Bercy clinic in Charenton-le-Pont, ranked among the best eye clinics by Le Point.
