Fees & reimbursements

How are the fees set?

Dr Prud'homme practises under the French sector 2 agreement: consultations and procedures covered by the national health insurance may involve a supplementary fee, frequently reimbursed in full or in part by complementary health insurance.

  • The amounts below are provided for information purposes and may vary with the complexity of your situation.
  • The out-of-pocket cost shown is the amount left for you to pay after national health insurance reimbursement, before any contribution from your complementary insurer, which may cover it in full or in part.
  • Before any surgery, a detailed personal quote is provided, as required by French regulations, with a reflection period.
  • Aesthetic procedures (cosmetic blepharoplasty, botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid) are charged at unregulated rates and are not covered by the national health insurance.

Health insurance and complementary cover: what to do?

1. Collect your quote

The detailed personal quote is given to you at the end of the consultation, before any procedure.

2. Send it to your insurer

Via your member portal, by e-mail or by post, asking how much will be covered (supplementary fees or a "non-reimbursed procedures" allowance).

3. Wait for the written reply

It states the amount reimbursed — useful before confirming the date of surgery if this point matters to you.

4. After the procedure

A receipted invoice is provided so you can claim your reimbursement.

Can my complementary insurance cover the supplementary fees?
Many complementary health insurers reimburse all or part of sector 2 supplementary fees, and some offer an annual allowance for non-reimbursed procedures. Send them your quote to find out your level of cover.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Bank cards, cheques and cash. The Carte Vitale is accepted.
